We get a lot of questions about our name.  Since it was Marcella's idea, we'll let her explain:

"When I was two or three—a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away (actually, in the mid-1950's in upstate New York), my favorite thing to do was to make my very proper grandfather lay on the floor, cover him with a blanket, and announce that he was now "all toasty." I loved making Grandpa as cozy, relaxed, and comfortable as he could possibly be (he was obviously a very good faker). I—all of us—still try to do that for everyone who visits, and even for the people who live in, our homes; we want, in other words, to make them feel "all toasty."

As you should be able to tell from our biographies, none of us has ever done anything remotely like starting a website before.  (Lindsay was a computer science major in college, so she comes the closest, but she left all of that behind when she chose law school.)  Somewhat surprisingly, we are loving every minute of the process, even though it is proving to be something of a challenge. (As I write this, I am listening to the soundtrack from Rudy—my favorite, and oddly appropriate.)  We are finally at the point where we can introduce our long-gestating website to the world.  Or at least to whoever in the world wants to check us out.

So, alltoasty.com is officially open for business.  Besides giving you ideas for all aspects of a party, we will be posting our thoughts on topics that we think will be interesting to someone who is visiting a food/entertaining website and on whatever else we can think of that will be helpful to you as a host or just in your day-to-day life.  Welcome.
