This dip tray has 4 outer sections and a center section for dip or oil. It is hand turned and carved from one solid piece of acacia hardwood. The acacia wood is legally and environmentally harvested on privately owned lands, and is monitored by local government agencies throughout the process. Acaciaware®, by Pacific Merchants, naturally resists liquid penetration, and will not stain or absorb odors due to the inherent resinous quality of acacia wood.
To care for Acaciaware®, simply hand wash it in warm soapy water. Do not put it in the dishwasher. If the wood ever looks dry, simply rub it with a food-safe mineral oil. Your Acaciaware® will last for years if taken care of properly.
