Sobremesa Simply Dotted Napkin, Orange, Set of 2

Product Specifications

These 100% cotton, hand block printed napkins are made by an artisan community based out of New Delhi, India, called Community Frlendly Movement (CFM).  CFM focuses on empowering women artisans in rural India, and works to ensure that these women have an opportunity to create and improve their livelihood.  The napkins go beautifully with the fez dinnerware, but are versatile enough to go with almost anything.

The Sobremesa collection was designed by Mimi Robinson, a designer and educator who advocates for artisan enterprises and fair trade around the world.  For this collection, she worked with a Chicago-based eco-fair trade non-profit, Greenheart.  Fair trade supports sustainable community development by ensuring that the artisans making products are paid a living wage.  "Eco" signifies products that are made using the most sustainable materials and methods whenever possible.  The word "sobremesa" literally means "over the table", and reflects the art of savoring the company and conversation of others over a meal—a perfect description of our goal for you at
